
The Coach
Kevin Dekkers has over 22 years of Soccer Coaching Experience and has a wide a array of up to date qualifications. He also holds a degree in Sports and Physical Education, a diploma in Health and Fitness Promotion and 12 years in Public Educatuion as a Physical Education Teacher.
Coach Kevin
Was born in 1980 in rural West Cork in the South of Ireland.
He has been playing soccer from the age of 5. Training with Cork City at the age of 17 and then playing with his University in Cardiff. Where he gained a BSc in Sports and Physical Education.
After moving to the Island of St.Maarten in the Caribbean in 2004 he began Coaching Soccer at a local club and as well as with various school teams. He has also worked as a Public School Gym teacher on the island for 11 years.
During his time in the Carribean he has constantly been upgrading his Soccer Coaching Knowledge and experience. He has now recently moved to Toronto with his family and is currently a coach at F.C. Barcelona Escola Toronto.

Coach Kevin believes the game should be played on the ground as much as possible with intelligent and accurate passing and movement. Players able to dominate their opponents with quick intelligent decision making and superiority in the 1v1 situations.. Ball and player movement dictate the quality of play. All training’s will be designed to enhance each individual players ability on the ball and maximize their understanding of the game with an aim to facilitating high quality play, decision making and problem solving
